5 Hudson Valley Farm to Table Caterers

When I ask couples what is most important to them for their big day, time and time again I hear requests for great food.  Beyond great food, they want it to be local, seasonal and a unique, memorable experience.  Lucky for us, New York City and the surrounding areas have such a great food culture that that request is not too hard to come by.  Plus living in the Hudson Valley, we have so many farms and artisans that make amazing food.  Below are five Hudson Valley caterers that use locally sourced food, to create personalized farm-to-table menus for any type of event.

Hunt & Harvest is built on a very simple premise, to bring the best of our region’s farms to your wedding, event or gathering. Every menu is custom created for you, guided by the seasons and your personal taste. This custom approach sets us apart from the rest of the field, and delivers a unique and fresh perspective to everything we do.

They work hand in hand with our regional farms, orchards, and food producers to bring a piece of the rich farming tradition of the Hudson Valley and surrounds to your table. The farm’s bounty is the star of the show and we work hard to enhance it all the more, while allowing it’s natural perfection to shine.

Five Hudson Valley Wedding Venues with River Views

Just over a year ago we moved upstate, 40 miles north of New York City, to Peekskill.  What drew me to the area was stunning landscape, amazing bluffs overlooking the majestic Hudson River.  We spend many weekends hiking around the area and I cannot get enough of the views, they are breathtaking.  What better backdrop to get married in front of than the natural beauty of the Hudson river.  Here are five wedding venues in the lower Hudson Valley region that take advantage of the scenic landscape.
