Five Unique Hudson Valley Wedding Venues

I've already shared five barn venues in the Hudson Valley and five venues with views of the Hudson River.  Here are five amazingly unique wedding venues in the region.

BASILICA HUDSON

Basilica Hudson Wedding

Basilica Hudson - An artist owned an operated multipurpose events venue in addition to private events we host a season of diverse creative programming. Have your wedding or private party and then come back for our music festivals or annual Farm + Flea!  Up to 325 seated guests .

BELLTOWER

Belltower Wedding

Bell Tower  - The gothic-style brick building was built by the Dutch Reformed Church in 1896 and in 2012 it was converted into a unique event space.  Much of the original architecture is still present, including the wood staged pulpit used, which can be used for speeches and music performances.  The Belltower in historic Rosendale is only about 90 minutes from NYC, and seats about 120 guests.

TAKK HOUSE

Takk House Wedding

Takk House - Previously a Knights of Columbus building, The Takk House has been transformed into a unique one of a kind space featuring original breath taking architecture, beautiful wrapping staircases, two large ballrooms (one comes equipped with a built in shuffleboard!), custom designed suites for getting ready, newly renovated restrooms and food staging facilities. The flexibility of the space lets you stick with its minimalist beauty or create a one of a kind atmosphere – it’s up to you and your imagination and vision. We're into functional, modern, creative events that crave open space and a blank canvas on which to paint the perfect day!  Seats up to 250 guests.

SENATE GARAGE

Senate Garage

Senate Garage Built in the early 1900's, the Senate Garage was once a parking space to the historic Senate House for the elite dignitaries.  Now, this modernized industrial icon of steel, brick and concrete creates the perfect setting for your special dat.  Ensconced within the beautiful setting of the Senate House Historic Park, this is a truly unique space.  The space holds 300 guests.

ARROW PARK

Arrow Park Wedding

Arrow Park - Arrow Park Lake and Lodge has old world charm, rustic beauty and is a relaxing getaway.  The mansion and property provide a stunning lake-view room that can seat 100 guests, as well as 12 suites and rooms for overnight stays.  There are numerous outdoor ceremony and event locations and a dinner-dance hall pavilion with a capacity of 250 people.  Enjoy a lake and beach just off the Appalachian Trail and under an hour from New York City.

This week we love loved...

It's been a rough week.  Busy busy busy.  I barely had time to comb through the world of wedding blogs.  But, I may have stayed up a wee bit late to dig for inspiration and here are my favorites of the week.

Cherry On Top Events created a bright and eclectic, probably one of my favorites ever on Green Wedding Shoes.

Via Snippet & Ink, this groom in this photo proposed to his bride with a banner on a plane, that banner became a bold wedding detail for the couple.  So sweet.

DIY genius, Jen, from Something Turquoise, came up with these fun and silly emoji wedding cards.  That one pictured is for the bachelorette party, of course.

This sweet floral heart is such a charming touch on a wedding ceremony gazebo over on Wedding Chicks.

Talk about pretty table tops this week!  Our instagram and pinterest feeds were filled with them!  Here are a few of my favs.

A classic wedding with an unexpected gold leafy installation by Strawberry Milk Events via Style Me Pretty

This Palm Springs wedding over on Martha Stewart Weddings by Amorology is so perfectly whimsical.

Of course I can't get enough of the fun, bright geometric decor on Green Wedding Shoes, by Wild Heart Events.

Finally, the pretty pink place settings for the "you still got it, mama" party by Beijos Events and The Shift Creative via Glitter Guide.

This Week We Love Loved...

This week spring has smacked me in the face in the form of sneezing and scratchy, allergy throat, but that can't get me down during this beautiful season.  Here are the other things I've found beautiful in the world of weddings.

The loooong reception table at this Lake Tahoe wedding is epic!

Laura Stewart Designs teaches us how to make this amazing macrame backdrop on Green Wedding.

I am obsessed with the details of this table from mid-century inspired styled shoot

This insanely perfect colored table has me swooning.

Spring is in the air, it's Easter weekend, it's time for some happy spring-time wedding inspo.  Here's what we loved this week!

A perfectly styled Easter brunch by one of my favorites, Beijos Events, via 100 Layer Cake.

On Green Wedding Shoes, An incredible wedding reception set-up, including floral ceiling installations by Gather Events and florals by Honey & Poppies.

A super cool original backdrop on Ruffled.  You have to check out the amazing details on the rest of this wedding.

And a dress, with a perfect amount of sex appeal in a thigh high slit on Snippet & Ink.

Happy Easter Weekend, y'all!
