Bachelor Finale Watch Party!

It may be March Madness season, but we’re also approaching my personal Super Bowl, The Bachelor finale.  At I Love Love Events we’re not shy to admit that The Bachelor is our guilty pleasure, and just like post football season, when Sundays seem a little empty, that’s how I feel about Mondays without Nick Viall.  The Bachelor ratings are at an all-time high and participation of Bachelor Fantasy Leagues growing, and with all this love for our favorite show, we thought it was time we threw the ultimate Bachelor finale viewing party.  You too can add some excitement to next Monday night with inspiration from our Bachelor Finale Viewing party.

This event is one part Galentine’s day celebration and one part Super Bowl Party with lots and lots of red roses of course.  To bring the vision to life we hit the flower market and bought up all the red and pink long-stem roses.  We created a garland of roses to set the backdrop and made the arrangements ourselves mixing in spray roses, and greenery to modernize the classic flower.  The best details weren’t in the flower arrangements though, they were in the hand-made buttons we created with our guest’s all-time favorite Bachelors (mine are Ben Higgins and Bob Guiney – old school).  And, the night wouldn't be complete without a little game.  We teamed up with our calligraphy pal, Lana’s Lettering and created Bachelor Finale Bingo game, to create, which you can download for free by signing up for our newsletter!

Since this celebration was also one part Super Bowl, we needed some good food and drinks.  We opted for a pretty cheese plate, popcorn and other easy snacks and a simple cake covered in rose petals.  Not only will your guests accept your rose, but they will also accept your rosè, so be sure to stock up.  We supplied both regular and sparkling as well as a rosy cocktail with vodka, sparkling water, honey, pomegranate juice and topped with a red rose.

I Love Love Mood Boards // The Bachelor Watch Party Inspiration

We are t-minus 14 days until Nick Viiall is part of his fourth, yes FOURTH Bachelor franchise finale.  It's getting a little ridiculous, but we love love The Bachelor and, yes it's true we love Nick too.  We are prepping for a little finale watch party two weeks from today!  We're going to use some left over galentine's goodies, and of course dress up the event designer's least favorite flower, the red rose to create a love-filled, champagne-flowing watch party, complete with games and hand-made The Bachelor paraphernalia.  Stay tuned for more coming soon!

Oliver's 1st Birthday Party

A couple weeks ago we had all our friends and even my parents made it out from Michigan to celebrate Oliver's first birthday!  Of course I had a blast planning and hand-making all the details, most from recycled denim from the thrift store.  The theme was cowboy, with lots of denim and indigo details, (remember my inspiration here?) and this kid looks stinkin' cute in a bandana!   We had at least 20 adults and nine babies, it was a perfectly chaotic 1st birthday bash and first party in our new home.  Thank you to everyone that braved the cold cold day to come out and celebrate and thank you to Alesia Myer for capturing the day.

Despite the weather, the day could not have been more perfect.  This ONE year old had a blast and so did his mom and dad.   Thank you again Alesia Myer for the beautiful photos.

I Love Love Mood Boards // Galentine's Day

Today is Feburary 1st.  Where did the month of January go!?  You know what that means?  If you haven't started thinking Valentine's Day, you had better get on it!  And if you don't have a man, or you're not into the whole Valentine's day scene, why not host a "Galentine's" Party.  Invite your besties over, drink lots of champagne and wine and laugh about old boyfriends.  Here a little something to inspire your fete.

I Love Love Mood Boards // Ice Cream Social

It's the end of summer, what kind of party should we throw?  An ice cream social, of course!  This whimsical party would be fun for all!  With retro vibes, both oldies and current hits blaring from a boom box, and lots of delicious ice cream flavors, adults would have as much fun as the kids.  Obviously we love this happy, quirky color palette, for this yummy party with just the right amount of kitsch.  Better throw this one soon, before the summer melts away.
