I Love Love Mood Boards // Catcti Party

The cactus, it's a low maintenance houseplant, but it's also the motif of the moment.  If you follow any design savvy person on pinterest, then you've seen the multitude of adorable DIY projects that would be perfect for a cacti themed party.  I am just smitten with this idea for a kids party or baby shower.  What do you think?  Are you over the cactus?

I Love Love Mood Boards // Clean Slate

Happy New Year!!!  Hey friends thanks for coming back to visit.  It was a lovely long break, but back at it and feeling very inspired!  Today's mood board is perfect for where my head is at, and the perfect way, in my opinion, to begin a new year, with a clean slate.  These pretty images are industrial and minimal and lovely inspiration for a very pretty wedding.

This Week We Love Loved...

It suddenly became fall this week on the East Coast.  Soup's on, mums are popping up and it's pumpkin-flavored everything!  and on the wedding blogs things are a little moodier.  Here were some of my favs of the week.

A fall bouquet by Foxtail Florals that's a perfect balance of happy and moody.  See more Green Wedding Shoes

Speaking of haunted, these portraits by Jen Huang compliment the old mansion venue.

and this invitation suite, by Citrus Press Co., skates the line of moody and happy, with beautiful fall hues.  Click over to Brooklyn Bride to see more.

This Week We Love Loved...

Hi friends, it's been a minute.  Greece was amazing, and exhausting!  We got back on Monday, but I didn't even have energy to unpack until yesterday, I was so beat everyday when I got home from work.  Anyway, I did get a chance to catch up with a few of my favorite blogs.  Here are my favorites from the week.

In my opinion favors aren't always the best investment, but how could a guest forget to take home a special token this beautiful?   Click over to these Brooklyn nuptials to get your socks knocked off!

This menu is such a simple and easy DIY.  It offers a sort of "water cooler" for guests to gather around to find out what will land on their plates.  Check out the rest of this Jackson Hole wedding for lots more pretty!

I bought a Cricut earlier this year, so I am all about the special laser-cut details.  The mix of pattern and open work on these boho invites is perfection.
