Continuing the theme of farm-to-table. I was inspired to create a mood board to capture the autumn harvest. As the leaves change and the sun sets earlier, the cafe lights and stacks of blankets can warm guests in the backyard barn celebration. Seasonal produce and freshly fallen leaves add accents and color to the color palette.
Most of us out there are trying to take steps to eat healthier and fresher, there is a big trend in the wedding world to focus on the food. Instead of just having traditional catering, couples are making food a big part of the wedding experience. They are hiring food trucks, bringing in sushi, and my favorite aspect of this trend, the farm-to-table cuisine. I took that idea to to a literal place with today's mood board. I love that veggies are popping up in arrangements, sunflowers are bold shining stars and the food is a little simpler and a little fresher.
