Continuing the theme of farm-to-table. I was inspired to create a mood board to capture the autumn harvest. As the leaves change and the sun sets earlier, the cafe lights and stacks of blankets can warm guests in the backyard barn celebration. Seasonal produce and freshly fallen leaves add accents and color to the color palette.
This time of year is just my favorite! It's part fall, part summer. The leaves are just starting to change every so slightly, there's a cool breeze in the air, black and orange haven't completely taken over, and the earth is somewhere between green and brown. This mood board feels fresh and cool, just like the fall air. The pop of icy blue is so unexpected and compliments the browns and orange in a brand new way.
It suddenly became fall this week on the East Coast. Soup's on, mums are popping up and it's pumpkin-flavored everything! and on the wedding blogs things are a little moodier. Here were some of my favs of the week.
