I want to say I'm over indigo dying, but I'm just not, and I don't think the rest of the world is either. I think this trend is going to ride for a while. One of the things I love about indigo dying is that it brings in so much layering, texture and depth. Many details are hand dyed, so they are special, unique and inconsistent. I love that you can pair this trend with cacti or greenery and you really don't even need flowers to make it work flawlessly. This mood board barely brings in any color outside the blue family, only some shots of pink and beautiful wood and leather details.
The indigo trend doesn't seem to be loosing steam. It's been in the home market for a while, fashion is all about the denim and chambray this summer, and this look is creeping into weddings all over, from table linens to gowns, indigo dyed fabrics make a big statement, they add a casual element, while still keeping sophisticated, in short, it's the perfect detail.
